The RMS-20 features a spiral roller system that moves sample tubes in two directions at once — rotating around their own axis while travelling up and down along the tube — so that the blood sample and the EDTA inside the tube mix homogeneously without compromising sample integrity.
The unit is designed to stop immediately should the operator's hand become trapped while loading or removing tubes.
The gear system connected to the motor shaft is manufactured from a wear-resistant special plastic to reduce noise. The rollers rotate in synchronisation with the clockwise motion of the motor through a dedicated gear transmission.
The housing is metal, finished with a stove-enamelled instrument paint that prevents corrosion and reduces paint wear.
The RMS-20 carries a 2 (two) year warranty against manufacturing and workmanship defects and holds CE certification.
